The Friends of the Ames Free Library is a nonprofit organization integral to promoting and supporting Library activities and programs, and purchasing items not included in the Library’s budget. We hold book sales several times a year, manage the Friends Book Shop at Queset House, and participate in other Library-related events.
FRIENDS ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the Ames Free Library will be held at Queset House on Tuesday, November 12, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. All members are welcome to attend.
MEMBERSHIP & BENEFITS
Membership fees help support library activities and programs, and aid the library in purchasing items not included in its budget. Membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Your membership entitles you to coupons for a free book priced $3.00 and under from the Friends Book Shop.
