Recently, the leader of a Daisy troop asked for help with finding a good book for each of the petals that the girls will earn, so I put together this little list and realized that she may not be the only one with this need. Here you will find five books for each of the attributes that the petals represent; some books might be too long, some books might be too short, but hopefully there is a book on the list that is juuuuuust right! I made this list by looking at lists that other librarians made and by adding some of my own favorites, and by clicking on the titles you will be directed to the library catalog. I recommend putting them on hold for yourself so that when they come in you will just need to swoop in, pick them up from the circulation desk, and swoop back out. Being a girl scout leader is tough stuff so let us make your life a little easier! If you think of any other way the library can help your troop earn petals or badges, we would love to hear about it!
